Despite its size, it is a real giant: the auna IR-160 internet radio connects with existing networks via WLAN quickly and without complication and brings the musical variety of online radio from all around the world wide web. In addition to many different internet carriers from regional broadcasters, the hot rhythms of South America, the rustic country folk from Texas or the spiritual sounds of Asia can be directly imported. But the device also excels as a flexible network media player, streaming shared music tracks easily through the built-in speaker.

The connection set-up and the necessary menu settings are made within a very short time thanks to a multi-function rotary encoder and the helpful device assistant - the listening experience can start right away. The 2.8” TFT colour display, which also provides various information feeds such as local weather reports, exchange news or radio information, provides the necessary overview.

If you don't want to listen to music from around the world, you can access numerous other media sources. MP3, WMA and OGG files can be played via the back USB port, while the AUX input allows the connection of all external devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players or laptop access. By UPnP or DLNA standard, music tracks from computers in the network can also be streamed completely wirelessly. For convenient operation, the remote control provides full functionality, and the radio may also be controlled via connected mobile devices such as smartphone or tablet using the 'Air Music Control’ app.

Thanks to its small dimensions and nostalgic exterior, the auna IR-160 internet radio finds its place to play in virtually every ambiance. Thanks to the availability of two wake-up functions, it can also serve the purpose of a radio alarm clock in the bedroom.
