Here you'll find everything for stand up paddling: inflatable SUP boards as a set with the right paddles and other accessories.
Stand up paddling has become a popular trend and leisure sport for the whole family. Whether on the lake or on the river, this sport can be practised anywhere, usually right on your doorstep. The sport does not even stop at surfing, because there are now also SUP models that can be converted into windsurfing boards. They can even be used for wave-riding. It is not surprising that this sport has become so popular, as it is amazingly versatile. This form of movement is not new, the form of paddling, also known as SUP sport, goes back to the Polynesian fishermen from Hawaii. They traditionally ride their canoes in an upright position.
You can only really have fun with the right equipment. The SUP board should fit your own ideas and requirements. In our shop you will find boards from well-known SUP manufacturers that stand for sophisticated technology, good quality and durability. But there are a variety of different boards, paddles and other equipment. That means that for beginners, it's not that easy to know which is the right one to buy. We'll shed some light in the darkness and help you to find the right board.
The most important distinguishing feature of the available SUPs is the construction. Originally there were only fixed SUPs, also called hardboards. Similar to a surfboard, they are made of a solid material, they do not have to be inflated, but they cannot be stowed away in such a space-saving way in winter. Nowadays, the market also offers inflatable boards. These are the most commonly purchased today. Once inflated, they are surprisingly strong and have properties similar to a hardboard. The advantage is that you can store them in the car or in the basement in winter to save space. You can even take the inflatable boards with you on a plane without any problems. A disadvantage is the somewhat lower durability compared to hardboards, but thanks to the now very hard-wearing materials, inflatable boards can also withstand a lot these days.
The paddles are not only visually different. Basically, a distinction is made between paddles with variable lengths (telescopic paddles) and paddles with fixed lengths. The variable length paddle is two or three piece, and it can be better adjusted to your own needs. Fixed paddles, on the other hand, have to be bought to fit precisely.
In our shop, you will find inflatable SUPs of excellent quality as a set with matching paddles and other SUP accessories such as a high-pressure pump, a storage backpack, a telescopic paddle and a repair kit. With the practical sets, you get everything you need to get started, and you can also save money compared to buying items individually.
Stand up paddling is an brilliant water sport for the whole family. The basic equipment is inexpensive as a set, it is easy to transport and can be stowed away in winter without any problems. What are you waiting for?
