I needed a new amp to replace my old (expired) unit. The AUNA looked good for the price, and has an integral radio tuner and, importantly, an optical input socket to connect to my blu-ray DVD & HDD recorder unit. The front display gives an impressive hi-tech look during operation.It does everything I had hoped - all inputs converted to surround sound. For me the Karaoke twin mike inputs will probably remain unused! Packaging was excellent - triple boxed for maximum protection in transportation. Perhaps made for the continental market, it has a European type power plug, but is supplied with an adaptor for the UK. The only downside is that the operating instructions are very basic - just diagrams showing the functions of the unit's buttons and sockets, and those of the remote control, together with basic page on safety precautions and troubleshooting. However, it is fairly straightforward to set it up.

The Auna AMP-5100 is a multi-functional 5.1 surround AV amp that's suitable for hi-fi, home cinema, or for hosting events!
The amplifier runs at a total of 1200W, and also features one optical input, three coaxial inputs, and a 5.1 base rate to connect to high-end consoles, Blu-Ray players and DVD players.
It also comes with three stereo RCA inputs and a jack input for a connection to CD players, MP3 players and similar hi-fi devices, along with an integrated radio receiver.
As a useful addition to hi-fi and home cinema systems, the receiver also features two front-panel microphone inputs which allow you to entertain at PA-events, karaoke parties, or at meetings.
