But the auna Connect Soundchef kitchen radio does more than just sound. With the optionally available auna Connect Soundchef tablet holder, it becomes a practical adn convenient reading and video platform to make it easy to display the best recipes and kitchen tips from the internet even while cooking. The integrated ambient lighting in three brightness levels provides light when needed, not only for reading, but also for chopping, stirring and cooking. Another Bluetooth treat is the hands-free feature that turns the radio into a hands-free device - leaving your hands free to search for recipes with ease.
So that the kitchen is filled with the right sound, the Connect Soundchef has two extra large 3" full range speakers integrated into a MDF housing with a bass reflex port, making it the most powerful of its class - a difference that you can hear! Helping with cooking, the compact, elegant all-rounder masters both the analog and the digital language by not only providing access to countless radio stations from the DAB/DAB+ and FM band but also connecting via Wifi to thousands of Internet radio stations. The RDS function program offers additional content such as artist, title, album or even news.
Heavily networked media player! Using Bluetooth or Wifi connectivity, the kitchen radio provides access to music libraries from Bluetooth-enabled devices and the home network. UPnP and DLNA support allows you to play all shared audio files. If you still can't find the right music, Spotify Connect will provide over 40,000 million songs via online streaming. In addition to the ability to play music wirelessly, the internet radio offers a conventional line input for connecting wired sound generators, such as a mobile phone or a computer. Operation of the device is also very easy thanks to the high-resolution 6 cm (2.4") TFT color display and the clear and multilingual menu navigation. The Connect Soundchef can also be controlled via the included remote control.
