Aquanova Irrigation System

Let the water flow! Houseplants need plenty of water on hot days, and accordingly should be watered often. Especially during the summertime, a long-planned vacation, a weekend getaway or simply following your ever-growing urge for outdoor exercise make it difficult for you to guarantee the regular necessary water supply. The Blumfeldt Aquanova automatic watering system provides a solution, guaranteeing automated care-taking of up to 10 potted plants.

Operation is simple: just plug the battery-powered main unit into the edge of a conventional bucket, while the suction pump remains in the water. Pieces of vinyl hose may be attached at up to 10 closable water outlets (10 m total length). These tailored irrigation tubes are anchored in the potting soil using the supplied stainless steel pegs so that they always remain in their intended location.

The amount of water irrigated is calculated from the set parameters and selected hose length. It may be regulated based on interval per day, duration in hours, respective distance and the water supply. The longer the hose, the greater the pressure loss and the less water reaches the plant. In the manual of the programmable irrigation system, you may find a useful irrigation and reference table. In addition, audible and visual alerts support you in the use of the system and provide information when the water level is low or battery power is low.

The Blumfeldt Aquanova watering station allows for continuous water supply for up to 10 potted plants, so you can enjoy relaxing moments of calm on vacation while ensuring that your plants are always in bloom.
