With the Garlando Light Chain, oneConcept illuminates your garden. Nine bright white LED balls will illuminate trees, shrubs, awnings and party tents, and give every outdoor social occasion that certain something. Not only that, the Garlando Light Chain is the perfect blend of familiar light chains and lantern Balls: The rounded lights follow the open concept of lantern lights and leave conventional acrylic lamps looking old. This is achieved through a string of crystal-like EVA plastic drops that form a network structure that passes the light from the LED interior, creating a sparkle like a thousand gems. Another advantage of this setup is the solid, but not completely rigid shape that allows the balls to collide without prejudice. Of course, the crystal Light String is suitable for decorating windows or front yards in winter.
You need not worry about energy costs eiither. The Garlando Light Chain's power supply is completely independent. A small solar panel generates the necessary energy from the daily sunlight and stores it for night time operation in its 1.2 V/300 mAh internal battery. This means that oneConcept's solar Light String is not only useful as mood lighting, but also as an environmentally friendly and economical energy saver too. A fully charged battery lasts for about 6-8 hours of use. Thus, the garden lamps are as simple to operate as possible, and have an automatic on/off control that responds to increasing or decreasing daylight. As there can't be sunshine every day, all six lamps are splash proof according to IP 44, and can thus remain outside even in the rain.
For stylish installation, the individual light balls have been given a sufficient amount of cable. There is 1.7m of cable between the solar panel and the first ball, so that the current collector can be installed in direct sunlight, while the lights can remain spread out amongst the dark shady branches. Between each of the individual balls there is 15 cm of available cable. For ease of placement, the solar box has a 19 cm long spike, which can be used to anchor the device securely to the ground.
