A rounded tip is ideal for playing cymbals. The sound produced on a cymbal is defined by the small area struck by the drumstick. The larger the tip, the louder and more assertive the sound. The rounded tip is ideal for producing a uniform sound, making it perfect for beginners who need to work on their technique but still want to produce a smooth sound.
