Rohema Percussion is a family establishment from East Germany in the fifth generation. They have been manufacturing musical instruments since 1888. The company's founder, Robert Eduard Mark Hellinger developed a range of drumsticks and batons in Markneukirchen. Today, the product range includes a wide assortment of mallets and percussion instruments. With over 100 years of experiences, Rohema produces items of particularly high quality.
The Rohema Classic Rock Series are made of Hornbeam (White Beech). This hardwood is used because of its uniform structure and excellent stability. Similar to Hickory, Hornbeam wood has a very high density, which gives it extremely robust characteristics. In addition, the Hornbeam drumsticks have a very light weight, which makes for a softer feel during less complicated techniques. In contrast to the R5B, the 5A drumsticks are slightly larger and heavier, therefore more resilient. They are ideally suited for use in rock music.
The teardrop tips allow you to perfect your drumming technique. This tip shape is recommended for drummers who want to have more control of the sound they produce.
