Rohema Percussion is an eastern German, family-run company
now in its 5th generation. Founder Robert Eduard Hellinger, from the
German state of Saxony, first started production in 1888 in the town of
Markneukirchen. The company first began making drumsticks and batons, and has
since moved into the production of beaters and rhythm instruments. This
experience over more than 100 years has given Rohema products a superior
With the Rhythmus Set 2, Rohema offers a wide spectrum of
percussion instruments that is perfect for music classes in school. Rhythm
instruments are perfect here as without a feel for timing, it is difficult to
maintain the beat in a piece of music.
This percussion set features various tone blocks, shakers,
rakataks, a triangle, claves and tambourine. The extensive range of percussion
instruments allows for a wide spectrum of acoustic tones and sounds that can be
introduced to almost any style of music.
The wooden instruments are lacquered and made from beech.
The instrument case supplied contains two large compartments and several
elastic straps with enough space for the entire set.
