The Peavey XR series will impress with the integrated DSP and enough input channels to handle almost any application. All models in the series represent a combination of user comfort and an amazing list of features, which include a digital effects processor with user preset options, an output signal processor with graphic EQ, an EQ control, a Feedback Ferret, and a powerful Class D amplifier.
The Peavey XR1220 is a light weight multi-channel mixer, featuring twenty XLR inputs and a generously-sized output range. The mixer is equipped with channel EQ functions that are practical and remarkably easy to use. It has a low-cut filter to clean the bottom end, high and low shelving controls, low-mid control targeting muddiness and Peavey's high MidMorph control to cut harshness or add crispness.
Instead of the simple low-pass subwoofer output found on many mixers, the XR1200 series has a full 4th order crossover network that removes the power robbing low frequencies from the main outputs.
The two-channel power amplifier provides 600W per channel, using advanced HWF Class D technology. This ingenious design provides heavy weight performance at a shipping weight of only 30 pounds.
