The Peavey XR family of mixers impress with their integrated
DSP and suitable amount of input channels for mastering almost any application.
All models represent a combination of usability and an impressive list of functions,
including a digital effects processor with storage capacity for user presets,
an output signal processor with graphic EQ, an automatic EQ, Feedback Ferret
and a powerful class D amplifier.
The XR 1212 mixer is a lightweight, compact device in rack
format that offers 12 XLR input and large range of outputs. The mixer comes
equipped with channel EQ functions that are designed for a wide range of
applications and are extremely easy to use. It features a high-pass filter for
more defined low range response, a shelving function for bass and treble, a
lower midrange control for accentuating mid frequencies and Peavy's MidMorph
treble control for suppressing harsher frequencies and bringing out more punch.
Instead of the standard low-pass subwoofer output featured
on many mixers, the XR series is equipped with a complex, fourth-order
crossover network that suppresses low range frequencies at the main outputs
that take overall energy away from the sound spectrum.
The 2-channel power amplifier performs with its advanced HWF
600W class D technology on each channel. This sophisticated design delivers
heavyweight power at just 6.7kg in weight.
