The Novation ZeRO SL Mk II was developed to give you complete control over music making software. Thanks to cooperation with all major DAW manufacturers, each of the 56 knobs, faders and buttons control the things in your software that you need them to control. The really great part is that the SL MkII can control your plug-in instruments and effects. The ZeRo SL MkII controller is almost identical to the SL MkII keyboards, but with longer throw faders (60mm) and a central crossfader. Thanks to its light weight and power supply via USB (bus powered), it is ideal for all performers.
ZeRO SL MkII has 8 faders, 8 rotary encoders, 8 knobs, 32 assignable buttons and a crossfader. Even the 8 trigger pads can be re-assigned. You can switch 6 of the buttons into transport mode allowing you to play, stop, record and loop as well as navigate backwards and forwards in your session.
The Novation SL MkII (as with all Novation controllers) comes with Automap control software. It ensures easy and fast control of music software with the knobs, faders and buttons.
SL MkII's huge LCD screen displays information about what each knob, button and fader is controlling. Due to its size, it can instantly display what each control is assigned to. You can always identify what control is assigned to which bit of your software so that you can concentrate on your game.
Illuminated controls give you feedback information on their respective status. Thanks to the LED rings around encoders, you can tell, for example, the position of your filter cutoff, and back-lit buttons will indicate whether a track is muted or not.
Each knob and fader is touch sensitive so a simple touch on the control can bring up information about that entire row of faders on the LCD screen without having to move the control and lose your settings.
Thanks to the close cooperation with the manufacturers of all major music software, the SL MkII gives you immediate hands-on control. In addition to the major DAWs, SL MkII & Automap 4 have been specifically designed to give you full control of 3rd party plug-in instruments and effects, like Native Instruments, UAD or FXpansion.
