The MASCHINE MK2 USB MIDI controller combines the
flexibility of computer-based music production with the hands-on feeling of
traditional hardware, allowing for an incomparably quicker workflow.
The new MASCHINE hardware is extremely robust, fully
portable and features magnetic, interchangeable faceplates. The black edition
comes shipped with black plate and black controllers. With the CUSTOM KITS
available in five colour schemes, you can tailor the hardware to your own
style. Each kit contains matching colour faceplate and controls. The
high-contrast inverted display offers a large viewing angle so that you can see
everything, even under poor lighting, whilst in the studio or on stage.
The controller weighs a little less than before and features
an optimised USB connection and MDI I/O layout that makes it extremely
difficult to accidentally disconnect any jacks. The new rubber pads ensure that the hardware stays firmly in
place, even during wilder sessions.
The Native Instruments DAW controller also offers time
stretch and pitch shift features so that you can switch between parts with
different tempos with the help of the automatic BPM recognition. You can also
stretch an audio file to a given length to adjust it the length of another
sample or match harmonies with your samples.
The pads' response, dynamics and touch-sensitivity have been
further improved. Via the software, you can assign different colours to the
pads and buttons so that you can always keep on track with all sounds and
You can easily search through, load, edit, play, arrange or
automate your sampler, plug-in and effect parameters. In addition, you can
control and sequence your entire external studio equipment, or other music
software in MIDI mode. For final arranging and mixing of tracks, simply move
the patterns via drag and drop to your DAW.
The MASCHINE MK2 comes shipped with more than 7GB of
professional, inspiring sounds. In addition, MASCHINE users get a full version
of the legendary MASSIVE synthesizer with 1,300 sounds.
