Transmits infrared signals through closed cabinets or walls
Operates with all A/V equipment such as stereos, receivers or DVD players
Controls up to two devices, upgradeable to four devices
Did you ever notice that: In the living room cabinet, your electrical equipment stays out collecting dust, while behind the cabinet doors there is all that space not being used? The reason is usually that the remote control won't transmit its signal through the cabinet doors. Well now the "Invisible Control 2" Infrared extension circuit from Marmitek is making this problem a thing of the past. The small IR receiver of the Visible Control 2 can be placed on your wall, while all the other A/V devices can hide.
To transmit the infrared signal, the small infrared LEDs are simply attached to the receiver of the controlled A/V devices. Thanks to the long transmission cable they can be located up to 3m away from the Invisible Control 2. Instead of at the stereo system, you now aim the remote at the receiver unit and the the unit will forward all your commands along the cable - through cabinet doors or around walls. Thus, it is also possible to control the stereo in the living room from the kitchen. This is especially handy when you want to use just one system for the whole apartment.
The Marmitek Invisible Control 2 allows you to control two devices and can be extended- with an additional infrared LED cable- to up to four devices.
