Each of the ultra-compact USB MIDI controllers from the
nano2 series fit perfectly in front of your laptop of desktop keyboard and
offer an impressive range of control options in the tightest of space. Simply
connect the nano2 controller to your computer via a USB cable and enjoy a
complete music production studio on your desk or on the go.
The nanoKONTROL2 offers all the controllers you need across
8 channels for extensive control of audio software – and all this in a housing
that has been optimally proportioned to fit in front of your laptop. A
transport section has also been conceived to offer the ideal selection of
buttons for simple and intuitive DAW control. The nanoKONTROL2 functions with
most audio software, including all modern DAWs, so that complicated connection
settings are a thing of the past.
Each of the eight channels features a rotary knob, fader and
three switches each assigned to the pan, volume and solo parameters. This set
up is extremely comfortable for recording automations of multiple tracks. The
added marker button helps you to mark important points in a song and allows for
an efficient working style. The parameters can be assigned other controller
numbers for when using software synthesizers. For example, the nanoKONRTOL2’s
faders can be used to control the synthesizer’s ADSR envelope and the rotary
knobs the filter cutoff frequency, resonance or other parameters.
The nanoKONTROL2 works together with the KORG Kontrol Editor
software that is available for free on the KORG homepage. With this software,
you can adapt the nanoKONTROL2 to fit your requirements. Minimum and maximum
values for all controller commands can be defined here, for example.
