The Electronic Star CSS2 is an articulated endoscope camera used to show images in hard-to-reach areas.
The endoscope works in connection with a Windows PC - typically a laptop - which provides the source of power as well as being a tool for mapping and recording the information gained. The Amcap software is supplied with the camera.
The gooseneck camera uses a CMOS image sensor to provide clear and easily interpretable pictures. When the lighting conditions are poor, the Electronic Star CSS2 has LED lights which can be switched on continuously on the handle. Thanks to the IP66-standard housing, the camera is resistant to water spray and the penetration of dirt and dust particles.
The 23.6 inch (60cm) length of the camera and the 2 metres of USB cable mean that the Electronic Star CSS2 is flexible enough to reach deep and winding areas.
The images can be recorded in AVI format, or snapshots can be recorded as JPEG files. Further processing of the photographic material is possible, and sharing the images to other computers can be done without hassle.
The Electronic Star CSS2 comes complete with a protective carry case. A special feature of the camera are the two attachments included (hook and magnet) which can be used to retrieve small objects.
This functional camera is ideal for many professional or amateur handymen, such as plumbers, electricians or mechanics.
Please note that the camera is powered via a USB port, and can therefore only be used in connection with a computer.
