The GoPro HD Hero is an ultra-compact full HD photo/video camera that can document your real-life experiences, even under extreme conditions.

The shock-resistant polycarbonate casing protects the full-HD camera from image loss in any situation. Thanks to the included quick-release waterproof housing, the camera can also provide exciting shots at a depth of up to 200' (60m).

With a 60 images per second frame rate in 720p mode, you can make high-speed recordings and create slow motion footage. The camera's 170° viewing angle records all peripheral events, increasing the viewer's feeling of closeness to the action. Through the built-in microphone with automatic gain setting, the camera records the action in excellent sound quality with minimal background noise.

Thanks to the camera's 1.4 lux light sensitivity and powerful optics, evening or low-light dives and climbs can be recorded for posterity.

In addition to the full-HD video recording, the camera can also take standard photos. With its unique photo mode, you can even take time-lapse nature shots.

Despite its compact size, the simple and fast, two-button operation means that the GoPro Hero remains easy to use even in extreme situations.

The camera can transfer your recordings to Windows and Mac computers over the micro-USB connection. By using the AV output, the HD Hero can even be connected with LCD TVs or projectors to bring your recordings to a wider audience.
