Only a properly adjusted sound system can reach its full power and achieve maximum sound quality. Many low frequency sounds tend to push a speaker's transducer to its limits, making it impossible for the speaker to give a complete representation of the sound spectrum all by itself. That is why high quality sound systems use several speakers to divide the frequency range and share the work. The job of the crossover is to distribute the individual frequencies, to split them and forward them to the respective speakers.
Bring your sound system to full power: the high-quality Behringer
CX3400 Crossover can be operated in two modes, 3-way stereo or 4-way mono. In 3-way stereo, the crossover splits the signal into left and right lows (woofers) and mids and highs (tweeters). In 4-way mono operation, the crossover splits the signal into lows, low-Mids, high-Mids and highs. Adjustable time delays are also provided to ensure a uniform sound, while a precise frequency selection is guaranteed by the use of metal film resistors. State-of-the-art, ultra low-noise op amps ensure super-quiet operation.
In the long line of superior Behringer products, the CX3400 Crossover shines.
