The Akai ACVDS702 is a portable DVD player with a great design and modern functionality.

The main focus of the unit is the 7" LCD display that can be accessed via the built-in DVD player and the two sides recessed USB and SD interfaces. In addition to DVDs and CDs, it can also read MP3 tracks, MPEG4 movies and JPEG images. The USB slot and SD card reader can play videos, music and pictures from portable media such as MP3 players and USB sticks.

A composite video input signal can also transfer the images of Akai ACVDS702 to an LCD TV or another display. Surround-sound systems are also supported thanks to the coaxial audio output.

The battery provides the DVD player up to 2 hours of independent power, and can. alternatively operate over regular outlets or via a 12V cigarette lighter port.

The colour casing also makes it an eye catcher for anywhere its setup.
