Akai APC20 Ableton Live DJ Controller USB MIDI with Lite APC Edition software

Akai is one of the most well respected manufacturers of HiFi and DJ equipment, and, with the APC20, the Japanese company worked closely with Ableton to create an innovative piece of technology for controlling DAW environments. The USB MIDI controller was especially conceived for Ableton Live and guarantees control over parameters, clips, samples and a truly individual mix.

The Akai controller is shipped to you already calibrated so all you have to do is install the Ableton Live Lite APC Edition software (included), connect the device and start having fun. The Akai APC20 can of course be reconfigured and adapted to you own specific requirements.

Its 5 scenes, combining a total of 8 clips, offer a clip matrix with 40 trigger pads for controlling and recording samples, loops and effects. Thanks to its bidirectional communication between the Akai controller and Ableton Live, the controller gives you all the relevant visual feedback regarding clip status, with its multi-colour LED pads. The 8 freely assignable channel faders allow direct access to volume, pan, wet/dry effect saturation and almost any other desired parameter. Via the Shift function, you can double or triple the control surface, allowing you to change between different user modes during mixing or recording.

Buyers of Akai products are looking for the best quality and usability and will certainly not be disappointed with this controller. The Akai APC20 features excellent user friendliness and is enhanced even further with its high-quality construction. It offers a robust metal housing and custom controls for longer life and lasting precision.
